The aim of this paper is to review the researches on the cultural diversity in the United States, especially in childcare. In this paper, the researches on childcare for minority children were divided into four categories; the researches about the relationship between teachers and minority parents, teachers education, education and educational resources for minority children, and welfare for minority children and their families. Through reviewing them, the problems of teachers' assumptions and the importance of discussions about teachers' competencies to educate minority children and to communicate with their parents were suggested. Teachers' attitudes to respect the cultural diversity toward minority children and their parents were needed in childcare.
