Abstract
The aim of this paper is to make clear about the alternation between the two types of predicates "Sino-Japanese noun + wo + suru" and "Sino-Japanese noun + suru". By introducing the concept of "involvement into the event", it was made possible to explain the cases with experiencer subjects that remained unclear in previous studies. It was shown that the Sino-Japanese nouns in "Sino-Japanese noun + wo + suru" construction have the feature of strong involvement into the event.
