Abstract
Have we ever looked at our own bodies? In this paper, we visualize living two subjects at the same time, based on the fact that a person in pain and “wounded” lives on the edge (huchi) and is made to face multiple selves within himself/herself relative to his/her own body, just as a patient with chronic pain stands on the edge (huchi) of life and death. It also suggests the possibility of this work as a literary teaching material that considers the“ wounded narrator” and his/her life with pain.
