We investigated the crisis of vocational identity for company employees through two studies. In study 1, we examined the influence of the crisis on vocational identity formation. In study 2, we examined how the crisis experience differed depending on age and sex. The results showed the following: (1) It is important for vocational identity formation to resolve the crisis. (2) Today, a lot of employees are facing the crisis regardless of age. (3) The characteristics of the crisis experienced by employees differ with age. (4) Females tend to experience the crisis more than males.
