Teachers of elementary and junior high school answered questionnaire on burnout and their situations which seemed to be the factors of burnout. The main results were as follows: the burnout score of teachers who have had school refusal students was not different from one of the others. Their burnout was associated with several factors: ""role conflict"", ""role ambiguity"", ""job control"", ""work load"", and so on. The directors' support was important especially among them. In addition, it seemed to be important whether they could consider that situation as a good occasion for their growth as a teacher or not.
