Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to grasp the actual situation that what kinds of difficulties primary school teachers have in physical education classes according to their teaching experiences.

We performed inventory survey for 348 primary school teachers. The investigation objects were divided into four groups according to two attributes which were consisted of "the curriculum coordinator of physical education" and "those who study about physical education". As a result, it was suggested these three following points.

1. The items in relation to "the fundamental condition" of the physical education class showed a low ratio on the difficulties of teaching physical education.

2. The items in relation to "the condition of contents" of the physical education class showed a high ratio on the difficulties of teaching physical education.

3. It was guessed that primary school teachers who had few opportunities to participate in physical education teaching, like women teacher, would have more difficulties.
