Abstract
This paper's purpose is to clarify the ideas of university students about being employed in China. While the university graduates' job shortage problem aggravated, the Chinese government struck various policies. Many researchers focus on the university students' ideas about being employed, for recommending them the employment in a farm village, a private company, etc. At the same time, the researches on the university students' ideas about being employed became the mainstream of the university students' employment research in China, and a consciousness conversion of the university students' ideas about being employed came to be recognized as a major factor which solves the job shortage problem. On the other hand, a part of sociology researchers paid their attentions to the structure of the labor market in China. However, there is not a research investigated about the university students' ideas about being employed extensively and objectively, being based on the Chinese social present condition. In this research, the Chinese university students' ideas about being employed are defined as five categories: the employment wish, the employment view, the plan of future course, the recognition to the effort of finding a job, and the employment support by the university, to consider the influence element of the formation process
