This study was analyzed how the state department of education developed curriculum in the "Kansas Comprehensive School Counseling Program; Best Practices an Addendum to the Model and Guidelines (1997)". I found some features in guidelines; they consist of itemized sentences, every sentence has its own number, the numbers make a three tired construction and every item is numbered according to importance. I found some features in the best practical models part, too. They are as follows; every practice is a single page and every practice follows the same format. The format includes the correspondences to counseling guidelines and are shown with guideline numbers, the outline of each practice, how many classes each practice is expected to take what materials are needed, how to contact the practice teacher and additional comments from the teacher. I discuss these materials in the point of view of those curriculum developments changing actual practices into immediate impact information to support teachers.
