Abstract
In this paper, we decided to examine whether going there how orientation as "self" by the reader act of "reading". As a method of reading effective to problems in the act of "reading" the relationship between "self" and "others", take up reading focusing on "narrator" at that time. This reading is a reading that can lead to attention to what is being talked about events and characters by using what the structure and representation, to relativize the reading of their own.

The desired purpose of this paper to think reading of focusing on "narrator" is about what is responsible for what role in the relationship between the act of "reading" and "self".
