Abstract
Hashiramoto Zuishun (1888-1958) was a member of the Otani Expeditionary Party, an investigation party which Otani Kozui dispatched to a wide area of Asia in the early 20th century. However, there are so many things researchers on the Otani Expeditionary Party don't understand about him. In 2012, I investigated the data of Meikakuji in Kyoto where he was the 17th chief priest. The investigation revealed the following results:

i) Hashiramoto Zuishun formerly named himself Ama Akira; ii) He was born to Shoouji in Kajiki of Kagoshima; iii) His investigation in India was conducted twice, the first from 1907 to 1909 and the second from 1909 to 1910.
