Abstract
In order to clarify formation processes of kindergarten teachers' views of nature, we conducted semi-structured interviews with kindergarten teachers. The purpose of this first report is to show experienced teachers' views of nature. The results of the interviews indicate that experienced teachers believe that: (1) human beings are originally embedded in nature; (2) nature brings varied materials that provide humans with a wealth of experience; (3) experiences in nature are important especially for young children.
