The aim of this study was to examine "learning in play" that teacher training course students grasped. Students learned about the continuity of learning and discussed ''learning in play'' on the basis of case studies. And we asked students to write words to be imaged from ''learning in play" for 3 minutes in pre and post surveys. We classified 300 words imaged by students by the KJ method and divided into 19 categories. We clarified that what is "Learning in play'' grasped by students. The causal process diagram and storyline of the ''learning in play'' that was found by this research revealed the relationship between play and learning in early childhood. And they also were able to visualize that "learning in play'' is the foundation of learning after childhood.
