The purpose of this study is to consider whether a lesson plan is effective for nurturing children's comparing views and thinking with some perspectives. The lesson plan was for life centered study in 2nd grade elementary students, letting them grow vegetables from seed without knowing what vegetables they are growing and motivating them to find the same kind of vegetables. Findings of the practice reveals that children try to find out the same kind of vegetables in the learning activity and most of them compare their vegetables with other classmates' vegetables, seeking similarities and differences with multiple perspectives using their senses of vision, hearing, and smell even without a teachers' instruction. In addition, although they can express their findings from the comparison in verbally, some are not able to express fully in written communication. There is a necessity to foster children's interactions and to give encouragement so that they can write what they find out.
