This study aims at clarifying time use of the children with disabilities in terms of the family types, the degree of necessities for independent skills of daily life, social contact and location. The data used in this study are based on time use survey of the children with disabilities in Hiroshima Prefecture on weekday and Saturday during the semester. It was found that mothers with the children with disabilities accompanied their children almost all day long except their school time, and the children spent a large amount of time with their family members and in their house. However, there was few opportunity to spend with friends of the same age. One of the important problems is how we provide time and space for the children with disabilities to spend with friends of the same age except for school time.
