The purpose of this paper is to analyze Basedow's textbook "Elementarwerk" from two points of view: on one hand, how Basedow has explaned the force in the world and human; on the other hand, how the force was in his discription for this aim. As a modem pedagogical thought, Basedow could'nt save his work from the force in the modern social system, and this fact is obviously recognized through the difference of meaning between his text und the figures.
