Support for children who require special attention has been an issue in nursery schools (Haraguchi, Noro, & Kamiyama, 2013). Studies have also pointed out that there are currently less plans for individual (education) support than for individual instruction. Thus, the study conducted questionnaire and interview surveys on individual (education) support plans in nursery schools, and aimed to grasp the situations and characteristics in actual nursery schools, create a manual for solving issues in nursery schools, and consider the effectiveness of the manual. There were some opinions that gave positive evaluation about the manual that mainly featured individual (education) support plan, and that they were specific, useful, and informative for younger nursery school teachers and students. On the other hand, there were also opinions that pointed out that there was a need to create supporting methods appropriate for each of the children. Interview survey and the preparation of the manual revealed that the nursery school teachers were constantly aware of dealing with each one of the diverse children.
