Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate effects of the leadership of school leader and organizational culture to the practice of school guidance. Single time questionnaire was taken, and 182 elementary school teachers participated in. The major findings were as follows : (a)challenging culture among teachers, principal breakthrough leadership, and mid-level leader's consideration effect on information sharing among teachers, (b) challenging culture among teachers, principal' s consideration and years of experience as teacher effect on preventive/developmental practice, (c) principal consideration, mid-level leader's consideration and years of experience as teacher effect on individual intervention, (d) challenging culture and principal breakthrough leadership and mid-level leader's consideration effect on relationships between school, families and local. And these findings were suggested that principal have to show breakthrough leadership and consideration, mid-level leader's have to show consideration, and incubating challenging culture is important for effective school guidance.
