The purpose of this paper is elucidation of narrative theory in Bruner. Bruner has made suggests to develop education and psychology from the proposed new look psychology. And, he insisted on the cultural psychology mainly composed of "Meaning" and "Culture" as a pragmatist, and emphasized the function of narrative. The achievements are evaluated as a pioneer in the times of the qualitative psychology. Various styles, such as a story, dialog, narration, autobiography, diary, and record, are included in the narrative. Then, the narrative theory in relations between the culture and the education in Bruner was examined from his research as a viewpoint that grasped narrative.
