This research is the preliminary study to aim verifying the effects of somatics workshop for teacher’s specialty improvement. Participants were 27 teachers from school for children with physical disabilities. In this workshop, participants formed a pair and engage to send thoughts from one person to another without using any words, to do self-expression by words, to imitate the movement of others. A questionnaire about education for children with physical disabilities was distributed to all participants before and after in workshop. As a result of consideration, some teachers were reduced the subjective difficulties about education for children by somatics workshop and teachers wanted to learn about teaching strategies for children with severe disabilities.
