The present study examined the demand for the handbook as the resource of information on the Special Support Education by carrying out a questionnaire survey to the regular class teachers at elementary schools. Then I made two checklists to reflect the demand of the teachers to the handbook. In research 1, I carried out a questionnaire survey by asking the demand for information contents to 255 regular class teachers at elementary schools and then made a checklist of Information Contents". In research 2, I carried out a questionnaire survey by asking the demand for method of publishing information to 327 regular class teachers at elementary schools and then made a checklist of "Method of Publishing Information". In research 1, factor analysis classified a checklist of "Information Contents" into four factors, "Daily Correspondence in Class (basic consideration in class, method of guidance on life side, etc)", "Systematic Correspondence in School (how to establish supporting system in school, the trend of Special Support Education in Japan, etc)", "Enhanced Correspondence in Class and School (information on Special Support Education, the latest information to obtain knowledge of the handicapped, etc)", "Initial Correspondence in Class (how to correspond in finding the handicapped, how to find the handicapped, etc)". In research 2, factor analysis classified a checklist of "Method of Publishing Information" into two factors, "Easiness of Reference (feelings that it wants to read are evoked, the layout of the design is effective and easy to see, etc)", "Easiness of Comprehension (the design handled easily in school, the design is consistent and easy to look for information, etc). It is considered that these lists enable better creating of handbook."
