The purpose of the present study is to show the issue of awareness in Life Environment Studies through the transition of Course of Studies, textbooks and the objectives, of the units on "School". Two educational implications are drawn from the investigations of the transition. The results are as follows; 1) It is important to anticipate and describe children's awareness concretely for teachers before lessons. 2) Teachers should make a discussion as one of activities in Life Environment Studies for sharing of awareness after studies and activities through actual experiences.
