The purpose of this study investigates how to foster student's' volleyball ability using competitive points between two teams (one team for six people) and an ability to enjoy a game as a whole group. In this study, 21 9th graders were divided into three groups for practice and asked to use their learning notebooks to become aware of an individual or team problems. Then, this study tried to make students foster an attitude to overcome their problems by giving advice to others or getting advice from others. Findings reveal that students enjoyed games by nurturing their abilities as an individual or as a whole team through group practices for volleyball. However, this study couldn't spare time for practice in each group because students had to be volleyball player or referee alternately. Future implications in this study suggest the need to get enough time to improve each student's performance.
