In the new curriculum guidelines, the viewpoints of "daily life" in elementary school Japanese language study, "social life" in junior high school language study, and "real world" in high school language study are indicated as important. In addition, in our school’s Japanese language course, focusing on a literary work, "learners ask their own questions" was set as the core of their classes. Learners often read literary works as enjoying the world of work and as thinking about human beings through the world of work. It is difficult to read these readings in connection with society. We aim to find the cause of the problem and overcome it.
