This paper reviews the psychological studies on Synthetic House-Tree-Person Technique (S-HTP) in terms of 1) its clinical approach, 2) its development, 3) in its content, 4) in its structure, and it considers those studies from the viewpoint of "Integration", "Perspective" and "Correlation of house, tree and person". The results were as follows: 1) S-HTP was effective to the understanding of drawing person's state. 2) It was indicated that a developmental arrest especially reflected in the "Half-Stick-figure" phenomenon and the whole evaluation system. 3) It was suggested that the interpretation of the "correlation of house, tree and person" had to be examined from more concrete arrangement. 4) The character side expressed in S-HTP by the execution order was different. Moreover, we suggested the possibility that viewpoints of "Integration", "Perspective" and "Correlation of house, tree and person" were able to be integrated from the viewpoint "Way of the composition of the ego", as one viewpoint of a new evaluation system that evaluated the composition pattern of the entire drawing.
