This study tried to prove the validity of "3-H (Heart, Head, and Hand) art education" focusing on "Head"and "Hand" founded on "Heart". This study examined the cultivation of the "ability of self-expression and communication" on the basic idea of "3-H art education". Three appreciation activities were set; the present ceramic art work, a Sketching activity, and a Communication activity with the arts. Based on a post-activity evaluation, the activation of "Hearts" draws "Head" and triggers "Hand".
