The purpose of the present report was to evaluate effect of class provision with active participation of persons involved (i.e. parent of the person with disabilities and staff of the support center for developmental disabilities), in order to improve understanding on developmental disabilities for department of education student. The results of the quantitative analysis using the question paper to measure the understanding for the person with disabilities, indicated that question items were classified in [social influence], [life accomplishment possibility], [social participation], [concrete action], and it was significantly different between [social participation] and [concrete action], [social influence], [life accomplishment possibility]. As a result of qualitatively analyzing a question “how you want to make use in future learning and life” for students, we extracted [how to understand a disability], [relation with the person with disabilities], [the formation of the symbiosis society]. Not only the class provision with active participation of persons involved in this report raised a motivation to the acquirement of knowledge of disability, but also introspected in self through learning from the person involved, and it was guessed that it was at a good opportunity to learn an attitude for the formation of the symbiotic society.
