The current study sought to examine the development of logic in children, using Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. ABC theory is a theoretical framework informing Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, in which participants write about a topic to help clarify their perspective on an issue. Children hold multiple beliefs, even about single topics. Thus, understanding the development of logic in children requires observation from multiple perspectives, including that of the child themselves. Developing effective approaches to equip children for school life is an important challenge. Because each child understands logic in a unique way, future studies must consider the individuality and variation in “the logic in individual child”, in addition to their behavior and expression of feeling.
