Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present a target analysis of elementary school students' Japanese reading proficiency. To achieve this it is first important to clarify the current situation regarding this issue before any improvements can be proposed. The research will address this issue and present results through data visualization. The results aim to provide information to assist development of improving Japanese reading proficiency at elementary school. Finally, clarification of the ability to formulate a consistent interpretation of reading proficiency is also analyzed.
