Abstract
Internationalization and globalization in higher education have been offering a variety of topics: international joint research; the research outcome; employment of foreign teachers; English- based university classrooms; foreign student policies. Many initiatives in view of internationalization and globalization have been implemented, followed by trial and error. Thus in international/global times, the university strategy which focuses upon survival must proceed in every institution in higher education.

For this objective, many universities will propose sophisticated planning with the scope of internationalization and globalization. Thus it is timely to develop a model to illustrate the status of internationalization and globalization. Considering the above, the glonal model is here proposed to facilitate the illustration. The example of the usage is presented and considered the relevant topic. The glonalization discussed in the material is a combined concept of globalization and internationalization.
