We explained the way of fixing an endotracheal tube by an adhesive plaster (II-3). There was a problem in this method. We analyzed it by "restriction of the movement", and by "the occurrence of coming off of a tube in the trachea, by itself".Also, we estimated it by "criteria on tube fixation" (committee). This method was firmly fixed, and there were few instances of extubation. However, it showed some possibility that this method caused too much damage to the skin. For example, 1) the area of the adhesive plaster was the whole check, and 2) because of using synthetic rubber, adhesive ingredients remained on cheeks, and irritated the skin.
