Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop the self-disclosure scale. Results of factor analysis revealed that the self-disclosure scale was composed of 4 factors of 22 items. Furthermore, the results of this study showed as follows;(1)client needed for listener more active behavior not only passive attitude than listeners do actually and (2)the skills about the posture and tone were insufficient. These skills could seem to be the skills which have been addressed as listener's character by nature . To learn the skills to promote client's self-disclosure, the importance of (1)the listener's active behavior and (2)descriving the skills as concrete behaviors was suggested.
