This report describes the content of the Japan-Czech Republic-Germany Cooperative Program in which 85 students from three countries participated during overseas visits in 2016 and a visit to Japan in 2017. The program focused on future energy problems, and the contents were compiled by pre-study, fieldwork, lessons, decision making, and a workshop. The analysis of the questionnaires demonstrated that the students had increased their knowledge about renewable energy. It was also concluded that mutual understanding and continuous collaboration among three countries play an important role when tackling energy problems on a global scale. On the other hand, each country’s students referred to their specific information in decision making for using energy in future. I believe this report will function as a precedent-setting example of the SDGs based on an overseas collaborative program where pupils with different languages and diverse values participate.
