糸針を用いた気管内チューブ固定法の限界

当院NICUでは,開設以来20数年針と糸による気管内チューブの固定を実施してきた.他の方法を検討して実施したこともあるが良い結果が得られなかったため,固定テープの貼付範囲が最小限にできる利点もありこの方法を継続してきた.ここでは糸と針を用いた気管内チューブ固定法の方法を紹介する.当方法は針を使用することにより新生児への危険が伴うこと,固定を繰り返すことによりチューブに損傷が加わるといった限界があり,他の方法を検討する必要性を感じている.

In our NICU, we use a needle and thread to fix an endotracheal tube. Developing this technique began when our hospital opened, (about twenty years ago).We had examined and tried other ways, but the results were not good. Our method's good point is that “we can make the fixed tape the shortest", so we continued in this way.In this report, we introduce our method. However, there were two bad points: 1) using a needle and thread was dangerous for newborn babies, and 2) fixed again and again, caused the tube to become damaged.We thought that we need to examine other ways.
