I have written Narushima Nobuyuki's career from 1689 to 1736 in series. This Paper contains his achievement in 1736, the remainder of the chronological record (7), and in 1737, which is still incomplete.
He showed his many-sided scholarship in this period. He published Daien, a list of themes of Chinese poetry, as a guide book. And he encouraged Mino Masataka, an agricultural leader, by writing a preface of his book: Nohka Kankoh. As a scholar of Japanese classics, he was consulted by Hayashi Ryuoh about his book : Gishikicho.
