This symposium was reported on the WEB by the reconstruction staff of the four local governments where the Hiroshima University Faculty of Law students and faculty members volunteered and conducted a follow-up survey.
First, we reported the current situation of landscape loss and stagnant housing reconstruction due to the huge concrete embankment by the photographs of the follow-up survey.
Second, the people in charge of Otsuchi Town, Kamaishi City, Rikuzentakata City, and Kesennuma City gave an overview of many reconstruction activities after the disaster.
Third, we examined the issues and responses to the Nankai Trough giant earthquake that may occur.
