Regulation of Tattoo Artists and the Constitution
Abstract
This article discusses the regulations governing the work of tattoo artists in Japan. Specifically, the author analyzes a relevant criminal case decided at the Osaka District Court in 2017 and gives his interpretations of this decision. The article concludes by indicating potential solutions to the problems around tattoo artists in Japan.
