The purpose of this study was to reveal how the content of unit "People's lives and Public welfare" in junior high social study education can coordinate with the financial education curriculum proposed by Ministry of Finance for the development of an effective educational activity. To be specific, the aim of this practice is that students learn to be interested in economic activity, to consider fiscal issues related to low birth rate and longevity, analyze various information such as statistical data, to cooperate with classmates and to ambitiously pursue solution to problems. In this research, the students' behavior in class and the contents of their works were analyzed. The result of the analysis revealed that students actively worked toward the financial problem solution and understood the role of sovereign well. As further research, strategy for the efficient coordination between the content of school lesson and the financial education program need to be considered.
