中学校英語科における身近な題材を用いた単元の開発 : 協働的に学ぶ態度の育成を目指して
A Study on Creating a Lesson Plan Using Familiar Materials in English Education: Aimed for Developing Attitude towards Collaborative Learning

Abstract
本研究の目的は，生徒が興味・関心を持ち，主体的に学ぶことを促進することができる題材を使用した単元を開発することである。生徒が主体的に学ぶ意欲が促進される題材として，生徒自身の学校生活の一場面を取り上げた。生徒はグループで自分たちが紹介したい場面を自分たち自身で選び，その場面の写真を用いて，ALTに紹介するための英文を作りあげた。授業後の自己評価カードからは，90%の生徒がグループで学校生活について紹介文が考えられたことを肯定的に捉えていた。生徒たちはALT の前で写真を見せながら全員が活発に発表することができた。またこの単元の終了後には，「話すこと」を苦手としていた生徒のうち， 2名が好きだという意見に転じていた。身近な題材を用いることは生徒の興味・関心を促すことにつながり，学校生活を取り上げることは有効であったと言える。
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to create a lesson plan using teaching materials which help students to get interested and to work autonomously. As the appropriate material for the purpose, the researcher chose students' own school life as a topic. Students chose one situation and write a description in English for an assistant language teacher (=ALT), using a picture of the situation. According to the reflection cards of students, 90% of them thought the activity in groups positively. They presented the description to ALT, showing the picture. Two students changed their thought of speaking and liked speaking activities. Therefore, using familiar material lead students to get interested, and thus, choosing school life as a topic worked effectively.
