島根県大東鉱山付近の地質及び鉱床について

In the vicinity- of Daitô-machi, Shimane Prefecture, molybdenite deposits are distributed. In this paper, the outline of geology and ore deposits is described. The geology of the district is characterized by the presence of various types of granitic intrusives and the related metamorphic masses. The mutual relations between these rock types are tabulated, schematically, in Table 1 (p. 2). Molybdenite is found, mainly, in quartz-vein, accompanied by pyrite, rarely by magnetite and chalcopyrite.
