日本伝統音楽鑑賞時の子どもの聴取態度に関する調査
A Study of Students' Listening Attitude Towards Japanese Traditional Music Appreciation

Abstract
本研究は，日本伝統音楽鑑賞時の子どもの聴取態度を明らかにすることを目的としている。4年生から6年生までの小学生129名に，宮城道雄作曲筝曲〈6段の調べ〉を聴取させ，鑑賞文を記述させた。全員の鑑賞文をグラウンデッド・セオリー・アプローチ（GTA）の手続きにより分析し，学年ごとにカテゴリ一作成を行った。カテゴリ一間の関連から小学生の鑑賞態度の構造を図解化した。その結果，多くの子どもは作品中心主義的な態度で，聴取していることが明らかとなった。また，継続的に箏についての学習を行っている6年生では圧倒的に楽曲中における箏の技法や音色への関心の高さが顕著であった。これらの結果に基づき，表現活動を通して日本伝統音楽の文化的価値観を伝えることを含めた指導の必要性について検討した。
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate students' listening attitude towards Japanese traditional music appreciation. The participants in this study were 129 elementary school students with a range from fourth grade to sixth grade. The participants were asked to listen to koto music composed by Michio Miyagi, "Rokudan no Shirabe", and complete an open-ended questionnaire for music appreciation. Grounded Theory Approach (GTA) was used to analyze the data from an open-ended questionnaire for music appreciation, and the data was categorized every grade. This result suggests that most of the participants listened to Japanese traditional music focusing on just Japanese traditional music itself; in addition, six graders, are in the process of learning about koto, showed a considerable interest in techniques and tones of koto. This research finally discussed the necessity of teaching cultural value through Japanese traditional music appreciation.
