Abstract
The pourpose of this paper is to analyze some stories of Kimiko Aman, a Japanese writer of children's literature, and to explore what forces to attract readers her stories has. "Onita no Boushi" is the one of most famous stories of Aman, and used as a teaching material for third graders in Japanese Elementary School. In this paper, by analyzing "Onita no Boshi" "Shiroi Boshi" and other stories of Aman, some characteristics of her stories are clarified. One of the most important characteristics is that narrators in her stories hold some contradictions, and throw the some questions of beings to readers.
