Abstract
The purpose of this research is to inspect the effect of the teaching materials to foster viewpoint of "Personal aspect of occupation" in the moral department of the junior high school. These teaching materials describe people who self-actualize through occupation. To achieve this purpose, the author conducted a class to 2nd grade students by using an existing teaching material. The author conducted a survey to inspect the effect of this class before and after the class. The survey asked students their occupational values. There was no difference of students' descriptions between before and after the class. It made clear the need to develop teaching materials students can remark "Personal aspect of occupation". Based on this need, the author developed teaching materials by interviewing to two workers. The author conducted the class with this teaching materials. As a result of this survey, students' descriptions which are related to "Personal aspect of occupation" increased. According to this result, this class contributes to foster viewpoint of "Personal aspect of occupation".
