A report on an investigation of the funeral ceremony of the Yi society in Da Liangshan China

Abstract
In this investigation, a field work, in Da Liangshan Yi Zizhiqu, Si chuan China, was done from July 26 to August28 in 1997 under the theme of “A consideration about the function of the funeral ceremonies for character-buildingin the society of the Yi in China". This is a report on the investigation which I carried out in the field with otherResearchers of Bimo culture by interviewing the priests called Bimos.
