Abstract
The purpose of this study is to show that the reconsideration of Dr. Matsuura's theory is necessary when the Mori’s Shikken system. So, I must point out that it is to consider the power structure of Mori’s since Ounin and Bunmei era.
In this paper, the following three points were pointed out. 1.Reconsidered the yearly comparison of historical materials used by Dr.Matsuura and raised doubts about Dr. Matsuura's theory. 2.Focusing on the relationship between Mori Souryou-ke and Mori Shoshike since Ounin and Bunmei era, it was clarified that there was a difference in the stage of entering Mori’s Kachu between Saka’s, Fukubara’s and Shiji’s. 3.Focusing on the trends of Shiji Hiroyoshi, the reason that Shiji Hiroyoshi’s activities can't be seen may be the influence of family supervision from Mori Motonari (Father) to Takamoto (legitimate child). It was pointed out that the way of the power of Mori’s, the residence and the lord, led to the end of the Mori’s Shikken system.
Based on what has been clarified in this paper, the feature of Mori’s power structure can be said to be based on the individual relationship between the owner and the Shikken from Ounin and Bunmei era to Tenbun era.
