土粘土を素材とした題材の開発 : 第1学年における授業実践を通して

A Development of Teaching Materials Using Clay: Through a Practice for 1st Grade Pupils

本研究の目的は，図画工作科における「土粘土を素材とした題材」の開発である。方法としては，小学校第1学年の図画工作科において土粘土を素材とした題材を考えて実践し，子どもの考えや活動の様子から考察する。成果としては，土粘土との出合いから段階的に造形活動を計画し実践できたこと。また，子どもたちが土粘土に興味を持ち，試行錯誤しながら活動できたことである。今後は，各学校での土粘土に対する意識と実態を調べ，学校の設備環境に関係なく土粘土を効果的に活用できる題材を開発していくことや，発達段階を考慮し6年間を見通したカリキュラム作成が課題である。

The purpose of this study is to develop "teaching materials using clay" in arts and crafts lesson. The method used was a consideration of pupils' thoughts and performance in activity, after conducting a lesson practice using clay for 1st grade elementary students. Findings reveal that the teacher can plan and do the creative activities gradually from the beginning of the clay lesson and pupils become interested in clay and do the activities by trial and error. Implications of this study are discussed to investigate pupils' consciousness and actual condition for clay in different schools, to develop teaching materials that enable effective clay lesson regardless of school's facility equipment, and to draw up 6 year curriculum in the light of developmental stage for future study.
