関数の考えをいかして図形の性質の理解を促す算数科授業の開発 : 第2学年「三角形と四角形」における実践を通して

A study of Developing Mathematics Lessons to Promote Children's Understanding of the Characteristics of Figures on the Basis of Concepts of Function: Actual Practice in Teaching of Triangles and Tetragons at Second Grade

研究の目的は，小学校低学年の図形領域の指導に焦点を絞り，伴って変わる二つの数量を関係づけて調べる必要性がある教材を開発し，きまりに着目したり表現したりするための手立てを講じていくことが，図形の性質への理解を深め，事象間の関係を見いだしたり活用したりしようとする態度の育成に効果があるかを考察することである。授業の映像記録や授業後に子どもに対して行った質問紙調査の回答を分析した結果，様々な場面に潜んでいる数量の中から依存関係にある二つの数量に着目し，主体的に関係づけながら見ていこうとする態度の高まりが明らかになった。また，教具を工夫し，目的意識をもって数量を関係付ける場面を積極的に取り入れることは，子ども自らが規則性を見いだすことにつながり，図形の性質の理解を深める効果があるという示唆を得ることができた。

This study aims to examine effects of material development associated with varying two numerical quantities for deepening children's understanding of the characteristics of figures on cultivation of their attitudes to find relations between events and use them effectively. Results of video-recording during the class and questionnaire after it reveal that children tend to foster their attitudes to look at them subjectively by focusing on two numerical quantities related interdependently to each other. Implications of the results are discussed to propose effects of lesson development on children's findings of regularity and deep understandings of the characteristics of figures by devising instruments and using scenes associated with numerical quantity.
