音楽科教員養成課程における教科専門科目のあり方に関する一考察 : 学生の意識に着目して

At present, there is a need for the integration of subject specialization and education in the teaching training curriculum in Japan. Some universities have already reported on the practice of classes that integrate subject specialization and education. In this study, I first surveyed the student teachers to understand their consciousness and discover: First, what they are learning in the specialized subjects, and second, how they want to apply the knowledge to their musicology teaching practice. Based on the results, I examined how to capitalize on the characteristics of specialized subject teachers in the classroom. The results show that specialized subjects should play the following roles: First, to pass on performance techniques and teaching methods to students for improved classroom practice. Second, and more importantly, teachers of specialized subjects need to use their characteristics as performers to communicate what music is through words, performances, and attitudes, and to engage the student teachers in dialogue.
