| Abstract |
磐田市内の3ヶ所の旧石器時代遺跡から出土した石器よりデンプン粒の検出を試みた。いずれの石器からもデンプン粒が検出されたが、その由来については出土状況や整理方法、保管状態なども合わせて考慮する必要がある。
Starch analysis on stone tools found from Palaeolithic sites in Iwata city (central Japan) revealed starch grains in various forms. Starch from one of the tools apparently seems to have derived from glue used to fit the tools. Before proceeding to the identification of starch grains, careful considerations of the methods of past studies and storage conditions of the stone tools are also needed.
