Po I • Shu Chi, We know that they made much of their strong faith for their life.
The story of "Po I • Shu Chi" was finished by Ssūma Ch'ien (司馬遷) in "Shih Chi-Po I lieh ch'uan (伯夷列伝)". We usually understand the style of this story only by "Po I lieh ch'uan", but this story in "Shih Chi (史記)" is different from that in "Mēng tzū (孟子)", "lu ship ch'un ch'iu (呂氏春秋)", "Chuang-tzu (荘子)", etc. In this paper, I've shown how "Po I • Shu Chi" changed in the author and back- ground. |
