Abstract
The main purpose of this paper was to investigate teachers' attitude to their treatment for children with school refusal. Three types of school refusal-neurotic, delinquent and asthenic type-were examined. The results indicated that teachers changed the way of the treatment for children according to each type. A wait-and-see attitude seemed to be important for the neurotic type. The stimulation to go to school seemed to be important for the delinquent type. It appeared that teachers had difficulty in the dealing with asthenic type. Their evaluation on going to school had some effects only on the stimulation to go to school.
